Things to do while here .....

Golden Valley Tree Park

An arboretum of trees from all around the world. Stunning in autumn and a delightful spot at any time for a picnic, BBQ or walk along the many paths and take in the scenic views. All trees are labelled for your interest. 

Balingup Village

abounds with a variety of interesting places for you to discover. Step into the Tinderbox and tempt your senses with the huge range of herbal products made right there. Taste the fruit wines from Birdwood Park fruit winery.

Take a coffee break or lunch at the Taste of Balingup, Bronze Gallery or  Mushroom Cafe.   

​

Stroll the beautiful gardens of the Lavender farm or visit  the Alpaca gallery and contempory art gallery at Galerie B or wonderful local goldsmith .



Wonderful Drives

Explore the scenic tourist route from Balingup to Nannup and back via Bridgetown.

Taste the local wines along the way, visit the Heritage Cheese factory to sample and see cheese being made, or the lovely Lavender Farm.

​

 

Bushwalks

​

Take a bush walk from the Lodge around our beautiful property and sit and have lunch at any of the wonderful vantage points with picnic table and chairs.

Or walk the Bibbulmun track from Balingup.

​

 

Visit historic Bridgetown and Nannup

​

Bridgetown is a lovely and easy 25min drive from the lodge.    The town has lovely old buildings, cafes and pubs set in a rolling hill environment.

​

Nannup is about 35mins away along one of the most wonderful valley drives you will ever do.     Roads are very windy, so take your time to do it safely BUT it is worth the time and effort !  Nannup is a lovely town with quaint pub and cafes. 

Book a local body treatment or massage

There are a variety of services available around the district.   Please allow plenty of notice to organise for a therapist to cater for your group.

Have local caterers come in and cook for your group.

The local produce is second to none.   We can provide a list of local caterers that can accomodate your groups every needs - just ask, but please allow plenty of notice  !
